I love being a Celebrant and performing special ceremonies. Char and Sharny allowed me to write two ceremonies, their legal wedding and a very special ceremony in Fiji.
I wrote two very different ceremonies, but both with the love I saw they shared with each other. Two amazing ladies. Congrats Mrs and Mrs Whittaker.

Hi my name is Suzie and I love getting couples like you married! My couples say I’m fun-loving and pretty relaxed and I bring a positive and focused energy to their wedding planning process and day!
Here’s a few of the frequently asked questions I get at our meetings:

Q: What does the Celebrant actually do?
A: Think of your Celebrant as the chief creator and facilitator of your ceremony. I’m there to welcome your guests, work with your venue and other vendors (especially photographers and entertainment), I create the ceremony that suits you as a couple and basically to ensure your ceremony is perfect! Oh and I also do all the legal stuff to make sure you are married.. yep without a Celebrant, it’s really just an expensive party. 😍

Q: Do you bring your own PA
A: Yes, I bring my PA & cordless microphone along. Some venues like you to use their inbuilt PA systems so that’s fine too!

Q: Do you stay on to MC?
A: Yes absolutely! I love nothing better than staying on to get your party started! Let me know if you are keen for me to add my MC package to your quote!

Q: What about music?
A: Well it can go two ways, you can have live music or a DJ however, if cost is something you need to save on for the ceremony, then my PA system, a playlist, and someone to assist, then mine is available for you.

Q: Does your price include travel?
A: If I have to travel 200 km or more return, then costs are not included; otherwise travel is included in my packages.

Here’s a few of the frequently asked questions my couples ask at our meetings:

Q: What does the Celebrant actually do?

I ensure all legal paperwork is signed and completed, create a ceremony that suits you as a couple and basically ensure your ceremony is perfect! Actually, without me, you are not really married just having an expensive party. So finally I do turn up on the Day !!!! 😍🥰

Q: Do you bring your own PA

If you are looking for a fun MC look no further.
Not only will I marry yo,u but ensure a fun night for you and your guests at the reception.
"A few comments from Rebecca and Adams Wedding"
we decided to include her as MC for the whole day as well - even though we already had an MC included in our music package, we thought it was well worth it to keep her with us for the day. We're so glad we did! Even if there was an issue on the day, we wouldn't have known about it before Suzie handled it herself - she wanted us to be as stress-free as possible on our special day. We only had a small wedding, but we wanted it to be fun and Suzie and Don were the fun-masters on the day. She hosted the "shoe game" and a quiz with prizes for our guests - just the perfect amount of activity to keep the laughter going and smiles on everyone's faces. She mingled and made sure all of our guests were having a great time. Our guests raved afterwards how amazing she was and that it was one of the best weddings they'd been to!

Let's just say, if you are looking for a traditional wedding ceremony, I'm probably not your girl. My ceremonies are full of laughter and fun, heartfelt love and serious moments to level things out 💗 Really what memories are made of!!
Think of me as your wedding ceremony friend not just the Celebrant. Together we will tailor a ceremony that is your story and special to you both. I will show up on your day and deliver... all you need to do is get ready, turn up, and follow my lead. I promise to guide you through the ceremony, every step of the way. What have I learnt? - bring sweets, be patient, and never worry if it goes slightly wrong.
I love having them involved, whether coming down the aisle or as ring bearers; they are amazing.
