Why Gymnastics?

Gymnastics is so much more than flips and cartwheels – it’s one of the best sports for building a strong foundation in both movement and life skills. From a young age, children develop strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility, all while having fun in a safe and structured environment.

But the benefits go far beyond the physical. Gymnastics teaches focus, discipline, and perseverance as kids work towards mastering new skills. It boosts confidence and resilience – there’s nothing like the pride of finally landing that skill you’ve been working so hard on! It also encourages social development through teamwork, listening, and taking turns.

Whether your child dreams of competing or just wants to move and explore, gymnastics sets them up with the confidence and ability to tackle anything – in sport or everyday life.

Tonight’s Winter Wonderland Disco was an epic night! 🎶 ❄️
Big thanks to everyone who came along – the energy, the dancing, and the vibes were amazing. 💃🕺 We loved seeing our community come together for such a fun night! 💙

Play On Vouchers Are Here!

Need help covering the cost of your child’s gymnastics classes? The Play On Queensland Vouchers are back and they’re a great way to support your child’s active lifestyle!

Eligible families can receive $200 to put towards gymnastics fees at Wide Bay Gymnastics. Whether you’re joining for the first time or returning for another term, this is a fantastic opportunity to get your kids moving without the extra financial stress.

Apply online through the Queensland Government website and bring your voucher into the club to redeem it.

KINDERGYM FOR 3–5 YEAR OLDS!

Our Kindergym program is the ultimate blend of fun, movement, and learning for little ones aged 3–5! Each 45-minute session is packed with activities that support your child’s physical, social, and emotional development in a safe and playful environment.

Confidence-building games
Coach-led circuits to build strength, balance & coordination
Guided free play to spark imagination and independence
New themes each week to keep them excited and engaged!

Whether your child is just starting out or ready to grow their skills, Kindergym is the perfect first step into gymnastics and movement.
