Announcing Ticket Dates for the 2026 Abbey Medieval Festival, presented by the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology

15TH APRIL • 10am 📆

Returning for its 35th year, the award-winning Abbey Medieval Festival will be hosted on the grounds of Abbeystowe, Caboolture this 10 - 12th July.

Real fur on a hood! Takes time and patience.

A week after the 2025 Abbey Medieval Festival all have returned to their homes and peace reigns again.
Big heart thank you to each of my crew, there is nobody in the world like each of you are; and to the wonderful Abbey event organisers 🤍🏰🙏🏻 such hard work paid off. I love this place, even the cows in the next paddock. We brought home plenty of dirt on everything so I owe some of that back to Abbey. 😅
And collected up such amazing beautiful memories.

The when I watch the transformation on a person’s face when they don a cloak and look in the mirror. Amazing, and suddenly connected, included, understood. Can’t wait.

for the first time ever, - “Cloaks of Honour” brings the union of offspring and brothers. Children and family. Long past Danish ancestors were honoured when we began this journey as a furrier and fur skin traders in 2006 at Abbey, to nestle in to make . 19 years on, we bring our first born, the strong son, who ventured west and married a true Scandinavian descendant woman whom he brings for the first time; and our next born, a daughter, wild & free, who ventured east and married a man from the snow & wind in a foreign land, who also comes to this historic moment for the first time. This posse together with a loyal brother and his beautiful wife complete the crew - - and make Cambridge history to remember. #🏰 #⚔
