On this week's menu we are continuing our tour of France 🇫🇷 We are going to Savoy in the Alps with the famous Raclette cheese melted over potatoes and charcuterie. Our menu includes Raclette cheese + Charcuterie selection + Boiled chat potatoes + Cornichons + Raclette's machine rental. Cost is $150 for 4 people delivered to you. In this week's menus we are starting our tour de France of food specialties. Moving from Paris, region Ile de France to Region North of France, next to Belgium 🍺. Obviously the cooking will involve beers to keep us warm during the winter months 😜. Menu #1 is our beef carbonade with cauliflower cheese gratin and apple tarte flamande, $50 for 2 and $100 for 4. Bonjour litteraly means G'day. Let us introduce Coq au vin. According to the legend, Coq au Vin can be traced back to Julius Caesar and conquest of Gaul. During the conquest, the chief of the Arverni tribe, taunted the Romans who besieged him, by sending Caesar a rooster, which was a symbol of the valor of the Gauls. In response, Caesar ordered his chefs to find a recipe that would assert the authority of the emperor. Since wine was a sign of wealth and status, to assert his dominance, Caesar returned the “favour” by inviting the chief to dinner where he was served his rooster cooked in wine sauce. #

Treat yourself with our homemade Chicken Cordon Bleu. Fresh chicken breast stuffed with smoked ham and tasty cheese, then coated with breadcrumbs for extra crunch, served with Potato Dauphinois and Green Beans. Invented in the 1950s apparently the chef tied the chicken slices together with a blue cord, hence Cordon Bleu 😀. Kids will love this ,

Our Sweet Potato and Goat cheese gratin is inspired from the gratin Dauphinois, a peasant dish created in the 16th Century in France. It is creamy in the inside with a crispy outer. A great comforting Autumn dish. Served with a Kale and Broccoli Salad. Yum!
