A beautiful table, delicious food and a very special reason to celebrate. ❤️

I had the absolute pleasure of cooking for a gorgeous family celebrating their parents’ 30th wedding anniversary, and what an evening it turned out to be.

On the table:
🍄 Mushroom Bruschetta on my home-baked sourdough bruschetta
🍗 Teriyaki Chicken with my secret recipe teriyaki sauce
🥩 Moroccan Lamb Cutlets with mint sauce and kale slaw
🍄 Creamy Mushroom Chicken with roasted vegetables and creamy garlic mash
🍰 Vanilla Cheesecake to finish with double cream raspberry and chocolate shards

But my favourite part wasn’t just the food. It was being welcomed into their celebration and watching a family genuinely enjoy the experience together.

Apparently I even reached celebrity-chef status when I was asked to sign their menus. 😂👩‍🍳

Darcie later described it as an “unforgettable private dining experience”, and that is exactly what I want every Chef Jess dinner to feel like.

Celebrating something special, enjoying a weekend away, or simply want dinner taken care of in your home or Airbnb? I’ll bring the restaurant experience to you. ✨

And apparently, I “bring the vibes” too. 😉

Kissing my 20s goodbye 💋🍒

A little vintage, a little dramatic, and a whole lot of cake. ❤️

Hand-piped, heart-shaped and made to be part of the celebration, not just the dessert.

Congratulations to Werribee Rotary for 58 glorious years and the Werribee Rotary Op Shop for completing 20 successful years.

What does a private chef lunch for eight look like?

It begins with golden mushroom and garlic bruschetta, sticky teriyaki chicken skewers and Cajun-spiced beef meatballs.

Then comes chargrilled steak with roasted vegetables and mushroom gravy, alongside Moroccan lamb cutlets, mint yoghurt and a colourful kale slaw.

And because one dessert simply wasn’t enough…

Rasmalai mousse with pistachios and rose petals, followed by vanilla bean cheesecake with whipped cream, raspberries and dark chocolate.

Seven dishes. Eight very happy guests. Not a single bite left behind. ❤️

From AI concept… to cake reality. ✨

When I first imagined this safari cake, I asked AI to help me visualise the idea. Then came the real challenge… bringing it to life with cake, buttercream, acrylic, lights, sugar and a lot of patience!

No prompt can replace the hands of a cake artist. AI can inspire the vision, but it’s still up to us to solve the engineering, create the textures and turn an idea into something people can gather around and celebrate.

Which one would you choose… the render or the real cake? 🦁🦒💚
