One thing I've learnt over the years is that the most meaningful weddings are grounded in trust.
Not just between the two people at the centre, but between a couple and the people they've carefully chosen to be part of their day.
The florist they've admired.
The photographer whose work made them feel something.
The celebrant they've collaborated with to tell their story.
The cake maker, the musicians, the coordinator...
When a couple choose vendors they genuinely admire, and then trust them to do what they do best; the whole day feels different.
It unfolds with a sense of calm that's impossible to manufacture.
One wedding in particular will always stay with me.
This couple trusted every one of their vendors completely.
They encouraged creativity.
They welcomed ideas.
They never felt the need to manage every tiny detail.
The result wasn't simply a beautiful wedding.
It became one of those rare days where every person involved had the freedom to create something they were genuinely proud of.
I think that's one of the greatest gifts a couple can give.
Trust.
