Celebrating 10 years nqeliterodeo and this year was the biggest yet! “Party on the hill” and “Rattlesnake saloon bar” the new additions to this iconic attraction. Fans saw all the action with some amazing riding in all events.

VIP zone catering over the weekend had ticket holders feast on beef sliders, loaded nachos with 6 hour low and slow pork, beef brisket BBQ focaccia with apple slaw, BBQ’d teriyaki chicken with jasmine, been shoots and furikake and pavlova with local passion fruit, berry compote and vanilla cream.

Most people know a first responder. As an on road paramedic here in Townsville, this organisation means a lot to me. Yes, I’m still working as an ambulance officer in between catering events! Back at the Cluden Park racecourse 🐎 catering another amazing event during the winter racing carnival. Over 200 guests at the “Calcutta” luncheon enjoyed a refreshing alternate drop of Atlantic salmon marinated in sesame, olive oil and kaffir lime leaf W an Asian inspired vermicelli/slaw, fresh lime 🍋‍🟩 nuoc cham dressing and a pesto marinated grilled chicken W portobello mushroom 🍄‍🟫 risotto, grana parmesan and truffle.

Jeanette & Alex 💍🥂❤️
Another beautiful ceremony and reception Elite Barn Weddings saw Jeanette and Alex marry one another surrounded by around 130 friends and family. Cocktail hour saw guests mingle while drinking and eating roaming canapés. During the reception, guests raved about the BIG BUFFET with extras which left not a single person hungry 😋

Elite Barn Weddings saw us cater yet another beautiful wedding there, this time it was for Jeanette & Alex. 130 guests enjoyed select canapés during cocktail hour then were treated to a huge buffet for dinner. Kelly and the Sundae Hearts was there to make sure the whole day ran smoothly and how beautiful are these photos from Tella Photography. Thank you Jeanette and Alex for allowing us to share in your beautiful wedding day.

Yes, in 1993 I became a first year apprentice cook at La Brasserie South Yarra, Melbourne. It was the talk of Melbourne after it opened its doors. That was 33 and half years ago. Apart from my first set of knives and uniforms, I went and bought his book, “white heat”. Everyone wanted to cook like Marco. All apprentices who wanted inspiration bought this book. Today, I still have a copy in my cook book cupboard.

Another beautiful wedding catered in Townsville and we just LOVE IT!
