Ever wondered what an wedding/event s t y l i s t does versus what a wedding/event p l a n n e r does?

Stylists and planners dedicate themselves to creating a wedding filled with details that personalise it and tell your unique story. While there is quite a bit of overlap in each role there are key differences. The main point of difference being HOW we achieve our clients goals.

W e d d i n g / E v e n t S t y l i s t . . .

A stylist thrives on design and decor! Their responsibilities are to create a positive impression and to create a memorable new experience for guests and event go-ers through aesthetics. Making a visual impact is one of a stylists main goals.

Stylists meet with clients to go over all things style & aesthetic related such as theme, colour, story, interests, vision & vibe. We achieve the look by designing/crafting/using elements including (but not limited to):

* Handmade props
* Backdrops
* Flowers
* Paper goods
* Rentals (chairs, linen, napkins etc.)
* Desert tables
* Photo booth props

We then combine these elements to achieve the desired, cohesive, look and impact.

Think of a planner as the Project Manager. Their responsibility is to accomplish a project to a set budget. Throughout the planning stages the Project Manager will manage multiple teams, logistics, time resources, human resources and, most importantly, the budget.

Much like a Project Manager, professional Event Planners oversea the entire event. Most Planners have a complete roster of vendors they are able to recommend whether you're searching for the best live band in the area or a photographer who will capture your day perfectly. These professionals will do, but are not limited to, the following to successfully carry out the event:

* Handles scheduling
* Manages the budget
* Coordinates with vendors/suppliers
* Handles contracts
* Provides a list of preferred vendors
* Sources and liaises with venues

Event Planners and Stylists play different roles and do different things but ultimately we work together to make the event memorable for our clients. We want you to L O V E every element of your event and we will do whatever we can to make that happen... After all, a stylist is a vendor that planners may go to for help achieving the event goals.
