Here’s a few of my favourite images from Mitch & Tash’s wedding at Girraween National Park ❤️

When I first got the email enquiry from Mitch & Tash I was very excited. Here’s the part that excited me the most: “We are in the early stages of planning the big day and exploring locations for the ceremony and reception to allow us to get photos at Girraween National Park (potentially at the top of the pyramids)” Mitch is also a photographer and Tash has a special family connection to the place. I couldn’t wait to meet up with them and talk about it more. Photographing at Girraween was a dream come true for me.It was hard to fit a full day’s worth of content (plus a photo slideshow) into a video less than 3 minutes. So much more context to add, so stay tuned for more 👀

Here's a timelapse I made of the recent full moon rising over Tabletop Mountain (Meewah). I posted a shorter version on my Instagram a few days ago, but with this version you can see more details clearly.

You can spot 2 people walking around on top just after the sun sets. I also like how you can see the atmosphere distorting the light as the moon rises. I think it kind of looks like an old analog TV. I'm assuming it's different layers of heat causing it to slightly bend the light. Any weather experts out there that can confirm this?
