Sometimes I still pinch myself at this little shop and how it’s evolved over the years.
In 2017 I was freshly engaged, enjoying life but at a total loss of what to do in my career. I was a nutritionist and not loving the work in the way I’d hoped. What did bring me the most joy was going to the flower market and packaging up flowers for my friends and home.
It took a push from Mitch (my fiancé at the time, now husband) to leap into business. It was a totally new world to me but I was SO excited to learn and I still get butterflies looking back at that time. It sparked such a joy, and I’ve honestly loved my job ever since.
From the initial days of creating on my kitchen table, and using my housemate’s bed spread for the daily posy photos. To moving to Toowoomba in 2018 and dedicating a whole room of our house to be a florist studio. To opening our first shop in 2020 on Annand St (when we were also a plant shop!).
Now we are so at home in the Rowes Precinct. We’ve had the most beautiful staff over the years. I love our little courtyard and I love that we now offer coffee which opened us up to a whole community of people. 🫶🫶🫶
