The big fella fought well, and it went to a split decision - with one judge voting him 40 points to 36 - but ultimately they awarded the fight to his opponent. We will have more details later - and hopefully some footage to post!! Stay tuned

Huge apology, but unavoidable hiccup in the televising of the fight. There was apparently a miscommunication and the prelim fights, which is Ricky, will not be televised. Only the main card. His fight will be professionally recorded and may be played during the live stream of the events on the main card, if there is early stoppages and time to spare, but no guarantee. As soon as we know where you can watch the recording, we will let you know.

Once again so sorry for the bad news, and thanks to all those keen supporters who were making arrangements to cheer him on. 🙏😢

The Lumberjack’s first pro fight will be televised for all those who want to watch. Not sure of exact time of Ricky’s fight but the information we have at this time is “from 4pm”.

“The No Limit Boxing event featuring Liam Paro and Liam Wilson will be held in Cairns on Wednesday, June 25th and can be watched live and free on Kayo Freebies. The event is at the Cairns Convention Centre. You can also watch it on Fox Sports ch 507, according to No Limit Boxing. Tickets for the event can be purchased through Ticketek.”

The Lumberjack, Ricky Sandral, has his first professional boxing match on the 25th of June, in Cains QLD. His opponent is Thomas Warria, a very skilful boxer, from who we're expecting a tough match.
