I don’t know how to put in to words the honour that was marrying these friends and lovely humans, Michelle and Chris. It feels too hard to summarise so here are some snapshots.
- An interstate Nonna attending via FaceTime
- The debut performance of the Chrischelle Chorale Spectacular Experience: Chris has a knack for surprising Michelle. Despite promising no surprises on the day of the wedding, Chris had enlisted a friend to form a choir and sing a song from a beloved tv show at the ceremony. The existence of the choir was revealed to Michelle at the end of the ceremony.
- A very talented family with one sister of the bride making her veil and the other sister doing her make up.
- Wing Defense crew of close friends coordinating a kids table and food platters and a lot more behind the scenes
- The cake-baker-afficionado of the group making an exceptional Persian Love cake
- An unplanned stand up routine late in the evening by the groom’s alter ego, Craig Newhurst, sans the toupee he usually sports.

It's been a while between posts and I've got so many lovely couples and weddings to share with you.

Starting with these amazing humans, whom I'm lucky to count as friends, Beth and Stu. They married under a beautiful oaktree over a year ago at Collingwood Children's Farm.

I was blown away by the dulcet tones of Charlie from who you can hear in this clip. She prepared them a stunning cover of Bon Iver's Holocene.

I still have a couple of weekends free before November this year, and definitely taking bookings for April 2023 and beyond.

We took pause in this ceremony to acknowledge and pay our respects to the bride's late father, who by all accounts was an exceptional human and loving father and friend. Shot glasses of peach schnapps (his favourite) were raised to the sky in his honour.
