Next month I am celebrating 45 years in this industry and 40 years since I completed my apprenticeship.

10 months ago, I miraculously survived a life threatening heart condition and surgery.
My heart had only 26% functionality.

My surgeon had a clear message.
"You need to help us to get you through".

I had to decide if I wanted to die or live.
To become a chef you have to be strong, mentally & physically. So I decided to live and come back, I couldn't leave my family behind with a mess to sort out.

Our current kitchen lease is coming to an end and we will have one more month to celebrate lunches in Memorial Avenue Tewantin.

Our off site boutique catering and private dining service will continue as normal (www.onechefforyou.com.au)

We always find something to celebrate, so let us tell you that, since we introduced our Community Lunches in May 2 years ago, the Kassler dish has been the most repeated dish πŸ₯‡

It was a perfect menu to choose from this week and our customers enjoyed a modern Open Seafood Lasagna, a comfy Corned Beef w Mustard Sauce and a pink Duck Breast with Cassis Sauce (side).

We have just uploaded our May offering to the website.
It will be 10 of our classic dishes covering week one and two of May.

We can confidently say that this was a very special EGGS-travaganza Easter 🐣

In simple words - WOW - each of our Easter Luncheons, Good Friday, Easter Sunday & Monday - resembled a bubble of just good time, good food, good company & joy galore πŸ’›

The warm weather continued and we hit the spot with a light delicate Prawn Cocktail, followed by Goldband Snapper & the Rolls Royce of Lamb - Backstrap.

The dessert, a "four way dream" of Campari Orange Sorbet, Pistachio Semifreddo, White Chocolate & Rosewater Mousse 🍹colour matching the fresh roses.

The photos also show a customers drop off delivery of Lamb Only Dish (think of having guests at home plated or as t/a for freezer)

A very special gift 🎁 we like to mention, thank you JG: Rosenthal Egg Cups w Colourful Eggs that have been hand painted in Germany 40 years ago😳πŸ₯šπŸŽ¨!
