I’m dancing for people I’ve loved and lost.

For my own reminder that early action can completely change a life.

🚂 Train Park Family Fun Day | Sunday 2 August 2026

Gather your family and friends for a fun-filled day while helping support local people affected by cancer.

Join us from 10am-2pm at The Tamworth Miniature Train Park for a day of family entertainment, delicious food, live music and community spirit, all while raising funds for Cancer Council NSW through Rebekah Bianca’s Stars of Tamworth 2026 campaign.

Your ticket includes your gourmet BBQ lunch YUM.

💛 $10 from every ticket sold will be donated directly to Rebekah Bianca’s Stars of Tamworth Cancer Council fundraising campaign, helping support local people and families affected by cancer.

💙 Why I’m Dancing

There are moments in life that quietly change everything from within.

Five years ago, I finally booked my cervical screening test after putting it off for years. I’d received the reminder letter... filed it away... (in the fireplace) and kept living life.

One day I decided to make the appointment because I thought,
“One day I’d love to have children.”

I wasn’t expecting anything to be wrong.

Instead, I learnt I had severe abnormal cervical cell changes requiring urgent treatment.

Within weeks after a biopsy I underwent surgery to remove most of my cervix before those cells had the chance to progress further.

I often wonder what my life would look like if I’d waited another year.
That experience changed me.

Along with another health condition, it also changed how I viewed motherhood. Today I have found peace with the possibility that my purpose may not be to become a mum, but instead to love this world with what I call Great Aunty Energy.

This year, I’m dancing in Stars of Tamworth because cancer has touched so many people I love.

My Grandpa.
My Aunty.
My Uncle.
My Friends.

If my story encourages just one person to book their cervical screening, or bring awareness to making time for a health check-in then sharing it is worth every vulnerable word.

👏🏻 COME CHEER ME ON

Ok... confession...

I feel much more comfortable behind a camera than I do on a dance floor. 😂📸

AND on Saturday 12 September, I’ll be stepping WAY outside my comfort zone as one of this year’s Stars of Tamworth dancers.
