A country town. A potato race. A prize money problem. 🥔

The Appleton Ladies’ Potato Race is coming to Tamworth Community Event Centre, presented by You'll Miss The Tide Productions.

Written by Melanie Tait, this funny and heartfelt Australian play follows Penny, who returns home to set up shop as the local GP - only to discover the men’s potato race prize is five times more than the women’s. Suddenly, Penny cares about the race. A lot.

With dry humour, big community energy and a sackful of memorable characters, this is a warm, clever and thoroughly entertaining night at the theatre.

The bar will be open, and BYO snacks are encouraged, so grab your friends, pack your favourite nibbles and settle in for a great night out.
