We are back in action!
Honesty stall has been stocked up this morning.
The jonquils went so quickly I didn’t manage to take a photo, but we have all these sweet juicy navel oranges (Jon has packed up extra large bags full so that you can juice them!) Delicious, organic and super special price of only $4/bag.
I’ve also dug the turmeric and it is amazing this year - good to see something enjoyed all that Autumn rain 😜
I gave bagged them up really generously too - the cellophane bags are at least 300g (and the messier net bags that I haven’t trimmed are 500g+) and both types only $5/bag. If you can’t get through that much you can pop some in the freezer and grate off small amounts at a time (still frozen). It keeps for months that way and super convenient.
You can also grow it easily up here. Its still a bit early to plant, but at this time of year I just pop a piece about the size of my thumb in a pot with barely moist-dry potting mix and keep it out of the rain. When it starts shooting (oct/nov) it can be planted in the soil and really doesnt take too much care as long as the soil is rich and stays moist through summer/autumn.
PLUS I do have some dahlia tubers for sale this year. Thanks to Cyclone Alfie we lost a lot to rot, so won’t be so many this year, and I’ll have to bag/box a lot because they didn’t hold together in clumps… but I’ll be organising those in the next few hours and start putting them out this afternoon.
I’ll post periodically, but my intention is to just keep topping the tubers up on the cart until they are all gone.
No holds, no orders, no guarantees and “as is” basis. They are crazy cheap for a reason- I don’t have time for customer service at this time in the season. Please understand that if you are travelling a distance there is a risk there might not be any when you get here, as im just managing it as I can around our busy Spring farm setup and planting. 🥰💕🌸
But right now turmeric & oranges.
Later today and coming weeks I’ll add the dahlia tubers.
