This Friday at the Meningie RSL we are going Italian!
Choose from 1, 2 or 3 course meal.
Starters - Soup.
Italian white bean, sausage and cabbage soup.
Mains -
Chicken, pepperoni and tomato ragu served on fettuccine
Or
Coorong mullet, squid and mussels in a creamy garlic dill sauce served on spaghetti
Or
Lamb, cherry tomato and pesto spirals
Dessert - tiramisu ... yum!!
GF pasta option and vegetarian.

Hello Happy Diners! Are you looking forward to Friday night at the Meningie RSL?
We will be serving a 3 corse meal again.
3 course - $35
2 course - $30
Individual mains $23, soup $8, dessert $10.
Soup - Asian style chicken, Ginger and corn
Mains - Baked lemon chicken thighs served on a bed of fried rice with braised Bok choy.
Or
Tagine of pork with apricots and almonds served on spiced rice with honey spice Carrots.

Wow! What a great night at the RSL on Saturday! Thankyou to everyone who supported this. This week will be back to Friday night dining. 1, 2 or 3 course will be available for booking. Menu will be released tomorrow. GF, V, and other major dietary requirements are also catered for on 24hr prior booking. 😁👍

Prep done, all ready for tomorrow night at the RSL Meningie!
2 or 3 course meal available from 6pm.
Bookings are advisable ( just to secure your table), otherwise you can take your chances on the night at the door. 😉
The bar is open from 1pm and I'll have tasty snack trays available to nibble on during the arvo with your beers! Trays include little Club Slider, cheeses, fresh and dried fruits, crackers, Barossa polish sausage, nuts and rice snacks 💕

Hi there! It's Monday night and here's the menu for Easter Saturday night at the Meningie RSL
A 3 course menu is available.

Starters - soup - Middle Eastern style creamed vegetable with herb bread.

Mains - Italian style braised chicken Maryland with a tomato, olive, bacon and white wine sauce. Served on a bed of Smashed potatoes with spring onion, and blanched beans and broccolini.
Or
Tasmanian salmon poached in a mild Thai Red curry sauce with lychees and spring onion. Served on rice with blanched beans and broccolini.

Dessert - Tia Maria Choc Mess. Layers of meringue, chocolate cream, roasted almonds and brownie. Topped with Tia Maria.

Come along to the Meningie RSL next Saturday night - Easter Saturday. The RSL will have the bar open and there will be a 3 course meal for $35pp.
If you can't eat an entire 3 course, mains will be available for separate purchase at $25pp. There will be 2 choices of mains. The menu will be released Monday. Bookings are essential and service will be from 6pm. All enquiries and bookings to 0409914841.

Hello!! Yep... I'm back! 🎉🎉
So, I'm trialling a new venture. I will be keeping my business small and very limited. Lots of you are aware that the Meningie RSL have been asking for a caterer to cover their Friday night's dinners. I have been privileged enough to score that position. Every Friday night from the 14th April I will be providing a lovely menu to the public. Seating is limited and bookings are needed to secure a table.
To kick things off, I will be holding a 3 course dinner on Easter Saturday night.
See the following post for details.
These meals are not made, or run by volunteers. I will be taking on this venture as Fancy Some Food? Catering. The RSL will be running the bar for their causes. I'm hoping to bring some new exciting dishes to the RSL, so come along and enjoy a good feed! ❤️🥂
