Today, MARU 👄 is #5 on the Global Tech House Chart on Hypeddit 🌍

11 years ago, I started making music on a laptop with no expectations.

Over that time, I’ve made R&B, hip-hop, house, tech house, UK garage, and everything in between.

Some tracks were serious. Some were fun. Some stayed tucked away, unheard.

I never chased a specific genre. I just made whatever felt like a vibe and sounded like good music to me.

To everyone who’s listened, streamed, downloaded, shared, supported, or believed in me over the years, thank you.

You’re the reason I keep creating and releasing music.

WE FILMED A DJ SET IN THE DUNES… WITH NO HEADPHONES 🌅🐪

headed out to the dunes in Anna Bay for a sunset set. the location was unreal, the weather was perfect, and i had a bunch of unreleased ambroz ids ready to go.

then we hit a problem.

the headphone jack on the console got ffed up.

normally that’s game over for a DJ set…ended up mixing the entire set using a JBL bluetooth speaker as a monitor. there were delays, far from ideal, but somehow we made it work.

along the way a random legend pulled up and started throwing some moves.

sometimes the best sets are the ones that don’t go to plan.

played some of my favourite tracks alongside a few exclusive ambroz ids.

big love to everyone (myself & my fiancée) involved in making this happen.

Still feels unreal saying this…

My track “Maru” just got played at Ivy Sydney by my bro Tommie Trax, absolute legend!

One of the most iconic clubs in Australia.

The craziest part? I was actually in the crowd when it happened, recording the moment myself. Full circle.

Huge love to all the DJs supporting and playing my music. It genuinely means a lot.
