Happy New Year!
Boy, has the last couple of months been a hard slog for - and not in the usual pre-2020 loads of events back to back type slog. But onwards we go into another year. There will be some ups and downs on the road ahead, but life and events with COVID are going ahead and we could not be happier.

To help you get back into the swing of things we highly recommend you get yourself along to an industry event. There's nothing like checking out new products and destinations, surrounded by eager event planners to make you feel the buzz.

A BIG SHOUT OUT to boutique Sydney catering company, who are on a mission to deliver boldly delicious food, with an ethical approach to their sourcing, cooking and service. 👌

They've been cooking up a storm these past few months as Sydneysiders get back to entertaining with a little help from their superstar produce suppliers.

Featured here (swipe) is produce from Feather and Bone butcher their meat supplier. They source pasture-raised meats that are raised ethically and sustainably (legends).

The crew at Radish Events also want to give a shout out to GoodFish Sustainable Seafood Guide , which they've committed to follow when sourcing seafood. The guide assesses and list loads of fish species and classifies them as red / amber / green, based on their current sustainability profile (type of catch, modern slavery, environmental impact, etc). Also legends.

Boy, am I in need of a giant glass of wine and a laugh right now. 🍷😂 Not only is lockdown killing my business mojo, homeschooling has reduced me to tears on more than one occasion this week. I started writing this joke and realised that what we do as isn't "Maths", it's a science! Or perhaps better described as a unique artform that cannot be learned from a textbook but must be experienced over and over in order for someone to become a true Master. So, make me laugh and let me know how many people you'd expect to turn up....
Hope you're all doing OK out there 🥰 And, if like me, you've been reduced to tears this week - it's a perfectly acceptable reaction to the current 💩 situation - so let it out! 😭

GIVE A BIG ROCKING WELCOME TO Rock And Roll Team Building who we are excited to be working with again! 🎤🎸🎶 They took off to the States 🇺🇸 and made it BIG, but then, you know... COVID sent them home to isolate with family and friends. 💕 And, we're so glad they're back, because there is nothing like the power of music to lift the mood, bring people together and rejuvenate a team. LOVING this event lighting and set-up at MONA - Museum of Old and New Art by JEM events 😍 This dinner event was part of a conference for the Australian board members of Entrepreneur Organisation. All about curiosity, connection, collaboration & community, the event was kicking off on "Star Wars Day" (aka May the 4th). So, Jodie from JEM events created a super stylish space themed welcome reception at MONA. 👏
It was Jodie's first interstate event since COVID-19, and was made possible with a grant from the Tasmanian Govt.
Business Events Tasmania have been working hard to entice more event planners to consider Tassie as their next destination, and with so much to offer, we highly recommend you take a look too!
