Our gorgeous bride, Angel, wears a bespoke lehenga with a traditional Māori korowai symbolising protection, prestige, connection, and whakapapa passed across generations.

Bridal wear is the perfect opportunity for garments to create a powerful dialogue or story of cultures, histories, and families.

Angel’s bespoke lehenga features thread, sequin and bead detailing while her traditional korowai is made from finely prepared fibres from the native New Zealand harakeke (flax) plant. The fibres are decorated using feathers from native birds such as kiwi, kererū, kākā or albatross.

Her final look depicts two worlds learning to exist side by side now now moving forward together. The final look is a reflection of heritage carried forward into a shared future.

Rachel and Monish’s destination wedding in the Philippines felt like stepping into a dream. With the backdrop of light melting into the sea, lush green jungle with a very White Lotus vibe, the outfits and the ceremony were effortless. Twenty guests on a private beach and Rachel in her silk organza fluid lehenga featuring sheer layers with embellishments that glisten softly in the light. The outfit was less about spectacle and more about presence. Elegance that felt undone in the most deliberate way.

Monish wore a sherwani featuring soft pastel florals in threads and pearls of Rachel’s lehenga. Draped with a tone on tone sage green stole featuring a straight edge border replicated from Rachel’s dupatta veil.

The setting, the garments and guests were a whole mood.

Our bride Bec wore a bespoke lehenga with a lace-like effect, fully embellished with beaded and corded florals, finished with subtle sequinned detailing.

The ceremony and reception featured vibrant florals with a balance of high-impact installations that were like “living sculpture” arrangements with expressive organic arrangement at the tables.

The cake had a nostalgic touch but was simple and effortless.

Most of our brides are looking to achieve individual expression over rules. Symret was no different. She is naturally a minimal, textural and fashion-aware woman and instinctively she chose a non-traditional colour for one of her multiple looks across her weekend wedding.

For her sangeet ceremony she chose our Ananya lehenga in a light blue in which, she felt like “her”. The result was effortless, deeply personal and an ode to her Punjabi culture.
