Monika’s sensational reception was set within an otherworldly fairytale garden. An event that called for something extraordinary.

After searching far and wide for the perfect piece with back-up options flown in from India, our design became the final choice to match the grandeur of of a fairytale wonderland created in Sydney’s Town Hall.

The lehenga was custom dyed to the perfect purple and hand-embroidered with crystals, stones and sequins, finished with layers of crystal tassels added to create moving texture.

The evening brought together some of Australia’s leading wedding creatives, with planning and styling by DK EVENTS, florals by Montana Flora and photography by ImageHaus. was flown in from Delhi for the occasion, alongside an array of Sydney’s performers.

New York bride. Rome wedding. A little East meets West magic.
For Laura, our Asian American bride marrying Ronak, who is of South Asian heritage, we wanted her lehenga to feel like a beautiful meeting point between their two worlds.
Chinese wave motifs ripple across luminous organza, woven amongst delicate florals and intricate hand embroidery. Ethereal, romantic and just a little unexpected.
A love story crossing cultures, cities and traditions. Dreamed up in Sydney, with a little New York input, brought to life between Australia and South Asia, and finally celebrated in Rome. Quite the journey for one very special lehenga.
