The wedding brief? A quintessential Aussie kid’s birthday party and boy did A&R nail it

A&R chose the Hunters Hill Sailing Club and DIY’d the c&$p outta it! Streamer wall, piñatas, handmade ceramic vases and custom florals!

There are so many phenomenal halls and venues in Sydney just waiting for couples who want to take on the DIY challenge. If you’ve got your own style, these spaces are the perfect blank canvas to paint your personalities all over. Bonus points also for the fact that they a few often in some of the best locations in Sydney so you’re guaranteed some beautiful photos (scroll across for evidence)

The brief was winter wonderland ❄️We turned the space a decadent, chic, enchanted forest inspired ice haven complete with a secret whiskey speakeasy 🥃

We love working with companies who celebrate their team members successes so we pulled out all stops to make sure everyone felt super special and appreciated 💜

These two gorgeous souls didn’t let a global pandemic, a closed for renovation venue and an organ transplant stop their Australian wedding plans!

Caroline & Sarah, who herald from the UK, spent 2 years fantasising of their Harbourside wedding in a place they love so much - SYDNEY

What we LOVED:
💕 they stayed true to their authentic selves and it shone beautifully in their wedding details
🍸they chose bottled cocktails from
🌹 they donated their wedding dresses to charity so some other lovely souls can look as stunning as they did
🌷 our Saturday night / Saturday morning time difference zoom calls - the highlight of the week at times

It was an honour to help plan their special day and personally, it’s a wedding anniversary I’ll never forgot as they got married the day my son was born (shout out to the incredible team of suppliers below who helped in such a phenomenal way when I was emailing them from the birthing suite!)

We love you Caroline and Sarah! Come back to Aus soon so we can finally have a drink together!

Brooke Coimbra dares to throw the rule book into the sun and disrupt our wedding industry in the hopes that more couples choose to celebrate and share their love.
