This dress didn't come from a catalogue.

It came from a conversation.

She had a design in mind —
and we built it from scratch,
in natural silk taffeta sourced just for her.

Every detail adjusted to her criteria.The off-shoulder to frame her collarbones.
The ruched bodice to define her waist.
The full skirt to move exactly the way she imagined.

Not a size. Not a sample.
A dress made entirely around her skin, her shape, her wedding day.

a mannequin covered in chalk marks.

This started as a sketch.

A pencil line on paper.
A vision Shaelyn couldn't quite put into words —
but knew the moment she saw it drawn.

Then came the fabric.
Then the embroidery — placed by hand.
Then the fittings, the adjustments,
the quiet moments where it started becoming hers.

And then she put it on.

And the sketch became a bride.

helping her into it,
adjusting the corset for the third time,
and making sure she looks absolutely unreal.
