Hungry anyone? Last week we were menu tasting at Doltone House for a client's upcoming Christmas party. (Well, it's a tough job but someone has to do it!) Which dishes would you pick?

Entree:
A - Caprese salad, buffalo mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes and baby basil with aged balsamic
B - Sautéed prawns roasted eggplants and puttanesca sauce
C - Quail saltimbocca, polenta, sage and prosciutto.

Main:
D - Barramundi fillet, potato croquette, silver beet and lemon caper gremolata
E - Chicken wrapped in prosciutto, fontina polenta, asparagus and mushroom fricassee
F - Fillet of beef, potato puree, asparagus, fried prosciutto and herb butter

Dessert:
G - Piemonte Pastachio Crème Brûlée
H - Le Chocolat
I - Le Jardin

What's your favourite venue? Last week Beyond Events managed a conference for one of the major Banks and arranged a conference session at the MCG including a behind the scenes tour. Whether you're a sports fan or not, the mighty ‘G’ is an impressive venue! The next day we contrasted this by going to one of Melbourne's beautiful little laneway restaurants, the Stokehouse City, impressive in its food quality, service and atmosphere. So we thought we’d ask: What’s your favourite venue - big or small - and why does it impress?
