A “Hot” Wordplay transition to change gears and bring up the energy level 😉 It will happen at almost every event, at some point the energy level on a dance floor will drop for many different reasons, and some DJs may panic and not know what to do… but an experienced professional DJ should know how to recognise this and know exactly what to do to change gears, have the ability to read the crowd and know exactly what to play next to reignite the dance floor and draw people back on the dance floor… but also remember, it’s ok for people to leave the dance floor throughout the event, people do get thirsty and at times full bladders do need to be emptied 🫣😅

Okay so here’s a little wordplay transition (play on the word “yeah”), I like to do this one sometimes because it can be unexpected, however trying to mix and record video at the same time, I got a little “lost in the moment” and dragged the transition out for a few more “yeahs” than I planned 🫣😅 but no one noticed right? 🤫😉

Still amazes me how Gen-Z today are so into music that was 5 to 10 years before they were even born 😅 I know the influence either comes from their parents or TikTok, but whatever it is it’s great to see them not only getting into on the dance floor but also requesting these songs! 🙌🏼😎
