🎉 Celebrating 30 Years as a Marriage Celebrant! 🎉
I am proud and excited to be celebrating my 30th anniversary as a marriage celebrant! Since my appointment by the Attorney General in February 1995, I’ve had the honor of officiating over 1,500 weddings—and I’m still going strong!
I specialize in crafting unique and personal ceremonies, always delivered with warmth and style. Every couple is special to me, and I’m deeply privileged to be part of such a significant moment in their lives. This incredible role brings balance, optimism, and a fresh perspective to my own life as well.
To mark this milestone, I’m sharing a series of photos from my 30 years as a celebrant! 📸 Swipe through and compare:
1️⃣ The first photo is from 30 years ago—young, skinny with curly hair, a pink dress, and a wedding decoration on my head.
2️⃣ The second photo, taken 20 years ago, with my favourite pink dress and straightened hair.
3️⃣ The third photo, taken 10 years ago, wearing a red jacket, holding the bride’s flowers while the couple exchanges rings.
4️⃣ The fourth photo, from 5 years ago, wearing a red top and black jacket.
5️⃣ The fifth and most recent, taken last week, where I’m not so skinny anymore, in a pink jacket surrounded by flowers, just before the ceremony.
Also, a little fun fact: I’ve just noticed that I’ve been wearing pearls at every wedding I’ve officiated over the past 30 years! ✨
Thank you to all the wonderful couples I’ve worked with over the years—here’s to many more years of love, joy, and beautiful ceremonies. 💖
