Where it all started-
These are designs I created at the beginning of Faye Cahill Cake Design, somewhere around 2007 (ish haha)
At the time they looked really different to most of what was out there, and I started using techniques that were widely copied and integrated into the style at the time
In particular my use of large areas of edible gold and silver leaf, pearlised finishes and lace piping
I was lucky to be invited around the world teaching and met some wonderful hosts and fellow cake decorators
