HAHAHA now this is a blast from the past! 20 years ago my Big Sister not only celebrated her birthday but decided to also throw a going away party! This was before she took off to Europe with her then boyfriend (and now my brother-in-law)!

PS i found what i was looking for!! (no it wasn't these pics but I'll share more in another post soon!)

Here is a pic of a talented performer next to my Mum... he could play various instruments (guitar, ukelele, piano, even the harmonica), would make up songs about stepping in cat poo...and even played the role of Joseph in a nativity scene!

The other guy is Kamahl.

Going down the rabbit hole on this one and digging through the archives - I was actually looking for something else when I came across these photos i took at Homebake 2006 (yes, 20 years ago!) - glorious weather during the day until it left everyone absolutely drenched around 6pm!! Looks like I saw Little Birdy, The Butterfly Effect, You Am I, Hilltop Hoods and The Presets that day.

Homebake was an all Aussie festival, with the occasional band from NZ (Scribe played at this one)....did you get to a Homebake back in the day? I think I may have gone to another one, but will see if I have pics of that one lying around!
