Bouquets are the closest flowers that stays near the wedding couple and are the flowers that are in most of the pictures, that's why sooooo much care and preparation go into them.
They are the ones that get first priority in my flower fridge space and are the arrangements that I spend the most time on. The best stems are picked from the bunch and are carefully prepped and crafted into the bouquet you hold throughout the day.
Bouquets will tend to look their best right up until the reception. The reality is, the hotter/humid the weather is, the longer the bouquets are out of water and the more they hit and bump into things, will all affect how long the flowers in the bouquet will last.
This reality about bouquets is something to consider especially if you're on a budget and would like to make the bouquets part of the bridal table decoration. Your florist can suggest what flowers works best out of water and some care tips throughout the day to help your bouquets last longer.
Keeping them in water, in a nice cool place right up until you need them will definitely help. Xx
