GARY & RACHEAL — FLORAL INSTALLATION FOR A GARDEN CEREMONY

📍 Venue: Bennelong Lawn – Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney

Set against the sweeping views of Sydney Harbour, Gary & Racheal’s wedding ceremony was a celebration of elegance, light, and botanical poetry.

Pont Des Arts was entrusted with full floral and ceremony styling – creating a bespoke outdoor installation that gently echoed the couple’s tenderness and vision.

We designed an organic sculptural floral installation — asymmetrical, free-flowing, and responsive to the natural landscape.
Each line and layer was guided by intention: the angle of the sun, the movement of the wind, the perspective of every guest.

Inspired by the warmth of late spring and the richness of sunset tones:
• Burnt orange, terracotta, honey gold,
• Balanced with blush beige and olive green — to create a sense of harmony, depth, and softness.

• A blend of premium fresh flowers and soft-touch artificial blooms, engineered to withstand full-day outdoor exposure.

A Dream Wedding: The Journey with Alvin and Annie
At Pont des Arts Wedding, each wedding is a masterpiece, deeply reflecting the unique love and personality of every couple. For Alvin and Annie, we had the privilege of turning their dreams into reality by creating a wedding space that is both poetic and sophisticated.
Pier One Sydney Darling Harbour, with its stunning location beneath the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and panoramic views of the Opera House, was the perfect choice for an intimate and elegant wedding. The venue seamlessly blends historical architecture with modern design, offering a refined atmosphere ideal for special occasions like Alvin and Annie's celebration. With a carefully curated guest list, the couple chose a conference hall that provided just the right amount of space to foster connection and warmth.
The greatest challenge we faced was transforming a modern, minimalist conference space into a romantic, warm, and artistically rich garden that mirrored their love. When Annie dreamed of a garden full of flowers, we delivered an entire forest – a breathtaking surprise that exceeded their wildest expectations. Trusting Pont des Arts completely, they never felt the need to see a preview. This unwavering trust inspired us to pour our hearts into every detail, ensuring they were not disappointed.

e. For this dreamy celebration, we embraced a surreal garden concept—where giant hand-crafted flowers stood tall like guardians of love, and glowing butterfly wings fluttered among clouds of blossoms.

Every petal, every shade of pastel, every glowing detail was carefully composed to create a world that felt otherworldly yet intimate—an immersive floral scape where love could bloom freely under the softest lights.

What made this setup even more special was the bold yet delicate choice of colour palette. We stepped away from the traditional garden hues, instead blending ethereal whites with sky blues, mauves, and blush tones, topped with whimsical textures and delicate grasses. A balance of softness and structure, light and shadow.

Thank you to our couple for trusting us with this unique vision. And a special mention to the venue for providing a canvas that allowed our imagination to take flight.

Sometimes, the most meaningful moments are not just in the final result but in the journey of trust and connection. We would love to share a heartfelt message from our dear bride, Wendy—a letter that truly touched our hearts and reminded us why we pour our souls into every wedding.

You honestly made me cry just now. Như, you are the most adorable and beautiful soul I have ever met. When I was thinking of flowers for the wedding, it was honestly the last thing on my mind. I was starting to get stressed by it. By the time I found you, I thought it would be too late for you to do much for me.
