Just a reminder to everyone that ticket sales for our kids Year 12 formal close next Friday- August 7.

We still need to sell 20 more tickets to meet our minimum booking numbers.

I would be very appreciative if everyone could jump on quickly to purchase so I can rest easy we have reached our minimum, and also to be reimbursed for the progress payments I have had to be making personally.

Hey Parents,

We have less than a month until I have to make the final payment for our kids year 12 formal. We have only sold 102 tickets (our minimum booking is 150).

Can you all please jump on booking tickets asap? I won't be able to personally cover the large final payments.

Hi Parents,

The second installment for our kids year 12 formal is due to the venue on Tuesday June 16. It is $5000 (I have already put down $2000).

We have only sold $3000 worth of tickets so far.

I would be very appreciative if tickets could be purchased over the weekend so I can make this payment.

It is a lot for one person to come up with 😬

Hi Everyone,

Here we are- our kids final school formal- can you believe it?

Our resident year 12 event co-ordinator / legend Poppy has asked me to join her to organise their formal.

After much discussion & research it has been decided to hold the formal at Dockside- Cockle Bay Wharf, Darling Harbour.

When? Friday September 11, 6pm-11pm

Ticket cost $145 per head

As the formal is in less than 4 months, we have a tight turnaround for ticket sales. This venue requires a substantial cost to be paid by mid July. I was happy to put down the initial deposit, however won't be able to personally cover around $10,000 in July which is what is required.

So... hoping whomever is able to please purchase your tickets by July 10.

Final payment is due by August 7- so that is the last date to buy tickets.

What is included?

- 5 hour event
- Mocktail on arrival
- Unlimited soft drinks
- 3 course dinner (can cater for dietary requirements)
- DJ
- Photo Booth & prints
- Security
- Event photographer

Absolutely no smoking, va**ng, alcohol or drugs will be allowed in the venue.

Any attendee who arrives intoxicated by alcohol or drugs will not be permitted entry to the formal.

Any attendee who causes damage to property or becomes involved in any form of altercation will be escorted out and not permitted to re-enter the venue.

In the event of any of these issues arising, the parent/carer nominated as the point of contact on this booking will be contacted to collect their child.

Closer to the event I will put a call out for some parents to volunteer as chaperones (will need around 8-9 people) & maybe some help with venue decoration.

Looking forward to putting together a great night for our big kids- their last hurrah as a cohort.
