The Jamaica Association of Australia (JAA) invites Jamaicans across Australia to get involved and help shape the future of our organisation.

Whether you’re looking to reconnect with the Jamaican community, have your voice heard, or contribute your skills and ideas, this is an opportunity to make a difference.

Nominations are open for all Jamaica Association of Australia Management Committee positions and have been extended until Friday 24 July 2026.

🇯🇲 EXTENDED: Calling Jamaican-Owned Businesses in Sydney! 🇯🇲

We are looking for Jamaican-owned businesses, brands and entrepreneurs to be part of our Jamaican Independence Day celebrations on Saturday 8 August at the Lord Gladstone Hotel, Chippendale.

This is an opportunity to showcase your business, connect with the community and celebrate Jamaican culture, creativity and entrepreneurship.

We are seeking non-food businesses only (fashion, beauty, crafts, art, cultural products, accessories, services and more).

📅 Event: Saturday 8 August
⏰ Stallholder time: 12pm–5pm
💲 Stall fee: $100
📌 Expressions of interest extended until Sunday 26 July

Jamaican Delight is proud to be catering the African Diaspora Youth Poetry Slam After Party. There’s nothing we love more than bringing people together through great food, culture, and community.

We’re especially proud to have our next generation represented too. Just as the Poetry Slam shines a spotlight on young voices, our family business is proud to have the next generation cooking alongside us and helping carry our passion for authentic Jamaican food into the future.
