How about a cool Zoom background? Zoom calls, webinars, and virtual everything is now an expected part of our lives. Complex filters and features are everywhere. Sometimes you need something simple that can act as a virtual business card.

Actionable Background is your little tool to do just that. You can add your information, a logo, or even a QR code for downloadable content or links.

It’s simple and free but may help you stand out in a good way (not the potato filter way) in your next big meeting.

Note: not affiliated or sponsored. Just a fan and spreading the good word.

Add your information and a dynamic QR code to your webinar/webmeeting background. Use your audience's time wisely.

Are you a Woman of Colour who wants to speak with confidence and conviction in meetings, presentations and in front of an audience — and most importantly feel that people see you for you and not by gender, cultural heritage and colour?

There are FOUR fully sponsored Woman of Colour Speakership spots. I encourage you to express your interest and amplify your voice as a WoC — you have nothing to lose. Here's how.

Thanks to Gemma Saunders 🌈 GAICD (She/Her) from Workplace Edit, Fiona Jefferies from Diva Works, Amanda Vanelderen from Wordworks and Andrew Griffioen from IFAA, for their allyship, we have FOUR speakership spots available.

To be considered, you must either be experiencing financial hardship and/or have a strong case as to why you would like to be sponsored. It could be, for e.g. you've just started a social enterprise and need support or you're thinking of starting a business that would enable greater diversity and inclusion. Please don't overthink this and just apply. We need your voice at the table.

Woo hoo! Great news for this fab Friday.

BREAKING: The Victorian Parliament has just passed a life-saving bill to outlaw LGBTQ+ conversion practices and open pathways for education, investigation and healing for survivors. Victorians born with intersex variations will also have new anti-discrimination protections. The final vote was 27 ayes, 9 noes.

This incredible win affirming the dignity of LGBTIQ+ people comes after years of advocacy, especially by survivors who were brave enough to share their stories. Thank you to the thousands of YOU who stood with survivors and contacted Victorian MPs calling on them to do the right thing. Together, we did it!

This law won’t undo the pain and trauma inflicted on so many in the past, but it will protect countless people from having to endure the same pain and harm going forward.

We know that LGBTQ+ people are whole and valid, just as they are. Now, Victorian law clearly affirms that too.

We MUST think about what we’re actually celebrating today. We MUST critically examine our patriotism, are we in fact “one and free?”. This date is a bloody day in our nations history. A day where our First Nations People were obliterated and deemed as insignificant and irrelevant to Australia future as a ‘ripe’ country. It is important to not remain native to these facts, just because it may be a bit uncomfortable or disconcerting to acknowledge.
We all play a part in the continued, systematic oppression of our Indigenous people. Let us begin the process of decolonising the mind and unlearning these historical fictions around ‘Australia Day’. We are not, “one and free”. Sovereignty was never ceded.

Martin Luther King Jr., a fierce advocate for justice in the late 1950s and 1960s, was a powerful speaker.

We help share the story people can relate to.

Keynoteworthy is a platform connecting diverse thinkers and speakers with event organisers. We believe representation on stage matters because impact does not end on stage – it’s where it begins.

Quite often, we’re seeing the same old line-up of speakers, that is, celebrities, cheesy motivational speakers and an all-male line-up just to name a few. People need fresh ideas and perspectives. That’s why we go to events and conferences right?

So, to prevent history from repeating itself, Keynoteworthy was created to make it easier to introduce great speakers to the world.

We feature authentic speakers – both emerging and experienced who are passionate and ready to challenge your ideas.
