What an incredible week at the 2026 Karate Australia National Championships!
As the final mats have been packed away and everyone begins their journey home, we simply want to say thank you.
To our athletes who gave everything, our coaches and team managers who inspired and supported, our referees and officials who ensured fair competition, our volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, our medical team, event staff, photographers, livestream crew, vendors, spectators, families, and the dedicated pack-up crew who were still hard at work long after the medals were presented—thank you.
Events of this scale don’t happen because of one person or one organisation. They happen because hundreds of people give their time, energy, passion and commitment for the benefit of our sport.
Every early morning, every late night, every smile, every problem solved, every act of kindness and every helping hand contributed to making this championship such a memorable success.
To our host state, Karate Tasmania, thank you for your outstanding hospitality and dedication in delivering a first-class event. We are truly grateful.
Together, we celebrated excellence, forged new friendships, created lifelong memories and witnessed the very best of Australian karate.
To everyone who played a part—whether your contribution was seen by thousands or quietly made behind the scenes—please know that it mattered, and this event would not have been possible without you.
