🇦🇺 Australian International Pathways Program – European Tour Wrap-Up 🇪🇺

What a journey! Over the past weeks, our IPP athletes, coaches, team manager, and our tireless referee have proudly carried the green and gold across Salzburg (Austria), Budapest (Hungary), and Lisbon (Portugal).

Along the way, they’ve tested themselves against some of the best in the world, achieved some incredible results, gained invaluable experience, and made new friendships everywhere they’ve gone.

A huge congratulations to all our athletes for stepping onto the mats with courage and determination, to our coaches and team manager for their leadership and support, and our referee whose work is not only vital to each event but brings valuable insight and perspective to the team.

On this tour we have forged new and deeper ties that we hope will be of benefit to many more talented Australian athletes in the future.

🥋 Lisbon Open has ended! 💪🏼 Aussies did us proud 🇦🇺

competed brilliantly to take bronze in the combined under 60 and under 67’s. Five fights, four wins, one loss against the winner Joaquim Mendes WKF rank #21 in the under 67’s. 🔥👊🏼🔥

In the combined under 50 and under 55’s, continues to make waves and take no prisoners, with stunning win over Portuguese athlete Catarina Rodrigues, bronze medalist in the Female Kumite −50 kg premier league event in Cairo. takes bronze. Be proud Charlotte 🌟
stalboyce having a breakout tournament in the Lisbon Open. Defeated in a tough fought final by the formidable Rita Oliveira WKF rank #9.

Australia was in the finals in both Senior female Kumite categories 💫💫💫
