2 years ago, we hosted our first ever event at club 77 pre Reno’s. What a ride it’s been! Never in a million years did I think there would come a time in our lives where it was illegal to dance with friends in public spaces and venues, or that nightclubs would be shut indefinitely- this year has really pushed our industry to its limits!

We will come back stronger than ever, with the ongoing support from our dedicated ravers, our venue & music partners, and our amazing residents Black Dahlia and Andrew Wowk- I fu***ng love you 🖤

To celebrate we are giving away some goodies!

1 x PACE MERCH kit with tee & stickers

2 x GL to the first PACE event post COVID

New mix from resident Black Dahlia for the Undisclosed crew! Expect her usual blend of gritty techno, savage electro, and off-kilter EBM.

We are pleased to once again bring you another episode of the UNDISCLOSED Mix Series!

Mix: https://soundcloud.com/undisclosedaus/udm022

This week, for episode 22, we are pleased to bring you a mix from Black Dahlia, who has been tearing up the Sydney scene whilst taking inspiration from brutalist movements and industrialism. She can always be relied upon for some intense and dark electro breaks to cathartic EBM grooves.

Supporting the likes of Kobosil, Paula Temple, SPFDJ, SNTS, Boston 168, and Adriana Lopez, and playing at festivals Antigravity and Trench, Black Dahlia’s sets can always be relied upon to energise as well as constantly surprise and intrigue.

Give it a listen! You will not be disappointed.

Resident Andrew Wowk has put together a new mix for our friends over at BARBA Party for their mix series! Andrew decided to comprise the mix entirely of music by BIPOC artists, covering some of his favourite early, formative tracks and contemporary music within the techno spectrum from BIPOC artists. Included in the SoundCloud description is a link to donate to the Aboriginal Legal Service, and a link to a huge database of BIPOC artists you can support on Bandcamp.

THE TIME HAS COME!

We'd like to say a big congratulations to the winner of our PACE YOURSELF | Artist competition: Zac Walls. Zac's entry was an intelligent, superbly-mixed selection of deep, dark, hypnotic techno which was tailored to fit the PACE vibe while maintaining his unique personality as an artist.

Zac is a great up-and-coming DJ who has already started carving a niche for himself in the Sydney scene. We're honoured to help him further establish himself with a great range of prizes, including sets at future PACE events, an entry to the PACEcast series, and a mix on Andrew Wowk's Time To Track radio show on Bondi Beach Radio

We'd also like to thank our two runners-up, djspark and Jet Black for their fantastic entries. It was an extremely close call between all three so rest assured you will be hearing more from them in the future.

Cheers

FRI-YAY! As we wind up our PACE YOURSELF | Artist comp, we share the final artist in our Top 3.

djspark “Look I love some of the classic US DJ’s in that harder, faster style: DJ Skull, older Jeff Mills and wanted to run something fast, but that hits a bit different for the comp. I felt the Japanese techno sound could be that… So the mix has some classic Ken Ishii, some newer Ishii some Shufflemaster and a bit of real vintage Takkyu Ishino.

Overall I wanted to hit a delivery that was full bore, it’s not really what I’d recognize as a warmup sound and it’s not really a close-out set although there’s a little wind down at the end, it’s a peak time club mix for when everyone is really revved up and just wanting to party – HARD.

Hope you enjoy it: Where I’m from we’d say ‘Cheers’;
but maybe better for this one to say 乾杯 / Kanpai !”

djspark’s back! With an interestingly unique lens on the current scene following a 20 year hiatus and the subsequent digital refresh of his dj tools and music collection.

Brought up in the UK surrounded by family and friends listening to Motown, Disco, Elvis and The Beatles there’s reference points in his style that just makes you want to move to the beats. As a teen during the emergence of rave music in the 90’s he first immersed himself in club culture through an out-of-control collection of magazines and mix CD’s. Starting out dj'ing at Uni on campus radio and student parties; family and career ended up taking priority over music for longer than planned. Fast forward to 2017 and he couldn't resist the siren call of the CDJ500’s and SL1200MK2’s - frantically retrieving them storage and firing them up once again. He describes what’s happened since then as pretty mental: a crazy weekend in Japan, some awesome events in Sydney, a re-birthing Australian dj debut at Club77 and posting of regular mixes.

In his own word’s: “I love nothing more than being a part of a shared positive vibe; when that experience is based on music I’m sharing, it just feels …Amazing!”
