Champion Event Group specialises in end to end Event Management and Event Marketing. With over 15 years experience in Event Management, Champion Event Group Principal Melanie Champion has managed and marketed hundreds of events from Product and Venue Launches to Fashion shows, festivals and Live Music Events. In 2009, after being asked to join the Executive Committee of the Pyrmont-Ultimo Chamber
of Commerce Melanie slowly built a name for herself running the monthly networking events. Melanie was instrumental in managing a number of successful events and also developed a unique and marketable brand for the Pyrmont Ultimo Chamber of Commerce. Her efforts whilst on the committee had a direct impact on increasing the chamber membership and generating sponsorships. Melanie then ran Marketing, Events & PR Businesses Champion Marketing Solutions and Zebra PR. From 2013 to 2014 Melanie worked at the University of Sydney Union managing on campus festivals and events for students. In this time Melanie managed teams of students and organised over 100 events. In 2015 Melanie moved over to the Solomon Islands for 9 months and in that time she successfully managed six high profile events and she launched a Charitable Foundation, the Hapi Isles Health Foundation which supports the Children’s Ward at the National Hospital. After organising a highly successful fundraising event, Melanie was instrumental in raising over $400,000.00 for the charity.
