The Nutty Professor is looking forward to running a three day Junior Scientia Workshop at UNSW in January 2020. As a UNSW alumnus it will be exciting for her to return to where she undertook her science degree (feels like a lifetime ago!)

The workshops are a part of the GERRIC Gifted Student Program which is designed for gifted and talented primary school students in years 3-6.

Have you heard of Spark! Adventurers' Club? Well now you have! ✨ 3.45 - 4.45pm on Wed afternoons at Randwick Library. More info here:

The Spark! Adventurers’ Club is a membership-only club aimed at inquisitive young scientists in school years K to 2. Members will be able to experiment, learn and discover through regular interactive and hands-on science workshops.

🌟The Nutty Professor is excited to be attending The Spot Festival this Sunday 🌟

Bring your kids to do some fun science activities and experiments (we will be located next to the petting zoo).

Throughout the day we will :

-do some magical science

-make sherbet from scratch

-make fluffy slime

-create watercolour paintings of wildlife

-make scrumptious edible slugs (using molecular gastronomy techniques).

Each workshop will run for around 20 minutes and will cost $2 per child. Kids get to keep what they make!

Enrollments are now open for our December School Holiday Workshops!

Come and learn the science behing "THE GREATEST SHOWMAN" movie- celebrate the amazing humans and animals that have graced the circus, make your own juggling balls, a ribbon wand and a spinning lantern (wishing machine). There will be a talent show and fun games and challenges!

In our "DUNGEONS & DRAGONS" workshop we will travel back in time to the middle ages and construct a fully functional Mangonel catapult. Come and learn about real dragons, make some dragon's saliva (slime), create a blinking dragon's eye and a duelling dragon!

Our workshops will run on Thursday the 20th December and Friday the 21st of December (as the last day of term four 2018 falls on a Wednesday)
