PART 2 | Unfiltered Wedding Moments.. I have so many photographs sitting on my phone from weddings. Some are beautiful, others chaotic and some probably make absolutely no sense to anyone except me. šŸ˜‚

But every single one takes me back to a moment.

A couple going wild on the dance floor, a bride gracefully positioned for her portrait session, bridesmaids joyfully chattering amongst themselves ahead of the welcoming of the groom procession, a couple getting ready to share their vows at their civil wedding ceremony and a bride and her friends dancing energetically at the Sangeet party.

These are the moments I love because wedding planning isnā€™t just about the big entrances, beautiful dĆ©cor and perfectly styled photographs. Especially when youā€™re planning a multi-day South Asian or multicultural wedding, there are so many little moments taking place in between the beautiful chaos.

As a wedding planner, at any given time, I might be multitasking, juggling 10 different things at once - checking timelines, coordinating vendors, directing family, fixing outfits and making sure everyone knows where they need to be.

But every now and then, I stop to capture the photo (or video) and Iā€™m so glad I did.

Because years later, these little snapshots are some of my favourite reminders of the weddings Iā€™ve been lucky enough to be part of. šŸ¤

So hereā€™s to the real, unfiltered, behind the scenes moments from weddings. The moments you donā€™t always seeā€¦ but I definitely do!

From calming the chaos behind the scenes to fixing our outfits, holding our hands, wiping tears, and somehow keeping everything togetherā€¦ Mums carry so much of the emotional heartbeat of a wedding day. šŸ¤

Today weā€™re celebrating the incredible mothers, grandmothers, mother figures, and women who show up with endless love, strength, patience and support and remembering those who may not be with us physically, but whose presence is still deeply felt in so many moments.

Some of the most emotional memories from weddings arenā€™t always the big moments, theyā€™re the quiet ones shared with Mum.

So hereā€™s to the women who help shape our stories, our celebrations, and our lives in the most unforgettable ways.
