Visiting Mum this weekend.
She made us a throw back dinner from when she had her kids all living at home in the 80’s - tacos.
Even served it all on the original 80’s serving-ware/basket we had our weeknight dinners on as kids! So cool to share this moment with one of my boys.

This pic is of the kitchen of one of my many (my parents were the OG house flippers - where I first stayed soaking in how to pull together an interior spaces) homes I lived in during the 80’s. Love this cool kitchen - macrame, retro pendants and hanging plants to boot!

It’s Grand Prix week peeps!
You might not know this about me but I’m a bit of a rev head.
Growing up with a Dad (gawd I bloody miss you) who loved motor racing (v8 Supercars specifically), and spending many a Sunday afternoon watching my brother race go karts or perched behind the tall mesh gates trackside at the local race track, that soul shaking vroom as each car screeches past and the atmosphere made of pure adrenaline is permanently imprinted In me on a cellular level.
Fast forward - Early 90’s - married to an investment banker - and we both happily lapped up all the (now not PC) broker perks, including being flown in and out of all the Grand Prix’s by chopper and meeting Motor Racing royalty.

Just a little appreciation post to my dear Dad for giving me a genuine love for cars and motor sports and wishing all the teams the best of luck this weekend in Melbourne.

Here’s to you Super Mario levelling up in the game of life!

Add new skills, travel, grow it eat it and taste consciously, slow down, say yes, read actual books with pages to turn, move more, swim in the ocean, make everything beautiful - even a simple weeknight dinner - pop a flower on the table and use real linen, hug your family, go on nature hikes, try new things but most of all, tune into you. Properly.

I hope for the happiest of happy New Years for you all.
