Inspired By Happiness

Inspired By Happiness Happiness is Our Passion! Hi, I’m Nes. I look forward to helping you with your wedding flower and styling needs.

I started crashing weddings at nine years of age and am now a full time creator of happiness through my wedding floristry and styling business. My approach ranges from beautifully rustic and vintage to boho chic and contemporary eleg

I particularly like to craft original, romantic and sentimental arrangements, pieces and installations using a couple’s memorabilia and any heirloom pieces within my

work. I hand pick all flowers fresh and love to work with the natural environment of each venue to enhance their unique character and accentuate standout features. With my flair for décor and sharp eye for detail, I am able to create your ceremony and reception vision ensuring all those persona and intimate touches you want are remembered.

Hi, I’m Ness,

For over 15 years, floristry has taken me on an incredible journey across Sydney, throughout Australia, and internationally. Working alongside inspiring creatives, building my own business, freelancing, and constantly evolving through every experience.

Along the way, I’ve learned that creativity is never static.

What excites me most now is pushing beyond traditional floristry, exploring unusual materials, unexpected mechanics, sculptural forms, and creating work that feels deeply personal, intentional, and distinctive.

For me, the process is where the magic lives.
The hours of experimenting, reworking, starting over, shifting perspectives, and trusting instinct are all part of bringing something truly unique to life.

In a world overflowing with talent, I don’t believe in simply following trends, I believe in absorbing inspiration, refining it through experience, and creating from a place that feels authentic to me.

With time, my perspective has shifted.
It’s no longer just about creating something beautiful, it’s about creating something meaningful.
Something that reflects growth, passion, and the legacy we leave behind through our work.

This new chapter feels more aligned than ever, and I’m so grateful to share it with you.

Thank you for being here and supporting my creative journey.

Sun-drenched citrus, sculptural florals, and harbour views. This private celebration was all about creating an installation that felt fresh, vibrant, and artfully abundant.

Layering hand-cut grapefruit, lemons, papaya, and cascading grape tomatoes with rich seasonal blooms, I designed each piece to blur the line between floral styling and edible art. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to bring colour, texture, and movement to the waterfront setting, bold, playful, and unapologetically joyful.

A celebration of fruit, florals, and immersive design, crafted with so much love, creativity, and passion.

It was also such a pleasure collaborating with the incredibly talented Auzi beautiful styling expertise helped bring this vision to life so seamlessly. Working alongside creatives who share the same passion for unforgettable events is always something truly special. There’s something about repetition…
the quiet patience of rolling each individual piece, one by one, shaping, refining, adjusting, until it becomes something more than just materials.

This piece took hours of hand-rolling every single element you see here.
Every curve was intentional. Every shift in direction was guided slowly, almost intuitively, until the form revealed itself.

Lately, I’ve been exploring a series focused on movement and sculptural shape, pushing florals beyond what they’re expected to be.

And this one… I keep seeing different things.

To me, it feels like a seahorse, elegant, curved, almost floating.
But I’ve also heard sea holly, coral, even something completely abstract.

I’d love to know, what do you see? EventStyling FloralInstallation SydneyFlorist LuxuryWeddings ArtisticFlorals

New work.
Built fast. No overthinking.

This piece centres around a banana inflorescence and dried lotus leaves and honestly? It didn’t turn out exactly how I imagined.

The lotus leaves were rougher than I expected. Not “perfect.”
But instead of stopping, I finished it anyway.

Because sometimes you create with what you have.
Sometimes imperfect is still powerful.

Dark. Sculptural. Minimal.
Just a few elements and instinct.

This year I’m choosing action over hesitation.
If I have an idea, I build it.

If this mood resonates with you.
If you’re drawn to something less traditional, more textural, more expressive.

I would love to create with you.

Let’s make something unexpected.

I found myself obsessed with this bunya nut.

At first it looked like nothing more than a strange green ball… heavy, sealed, mysterious.
And I couldn’t stop staring at it.

I wanted to know what was inside so badly… I tried to open it with my hands, but it wouldn’t budge.
So I forced it.
A serrated knife. Pressure. Impatience.

And then I left it sitting there.

Days later… I noticed something.
It was slowly opening on its own.

Naturally.
Quietly.
Exactly when it was ready.

And the moment I touched it… it fell apart effortlessly.

That hit me.

Because how many times do we do that in life?
We rush.
We force.
We push things open before their time.

But nature doesn’t work like that.
Creativity doesn’t work like that.
And neither does growth.

This piece was built the same way.

Toothpicks. Hot glue. BBQ sticks. Patience.
Doubt. Frustration. Walking away. Coming back again.

So many times I almost gave up.
I kept thinking… is this even beautiful? Does this even make sense?

But something in me kept going.
Because lately, I’ve been craving more than “pretty flowers.”

I’ve been craving creation.

The kind of work that makes people stop and ask:
“What is this?”
And others whisper:
“Wow… I’ve never seen anything like that before.”

This is my new direction.
Not for everyone.
But for the ones who feel inspired by nature, texture, form… and the art of making something out of the unexpected. If this speaks to you…
If you’re looking for something bold, sculptural, and different…

Let’s create something unforgettable together.

I stumbled upon these massive Bunya pine cones and was captivated by their unique shape, raw, bold, and almost structural. So I began experimenting and this arrangement took shape. Sometimes inspiration doesn't come from traditional beauty... it comes from nature showing you that design is all around. More creations coming soon 👀🖤

Floral work doesn’t need to sit quietly in a corner.

This piece was designed as an object, something that belongs on a wall, not a table.
