Today I want to share a big WIN with all of you.
I've always been passionate about education.
There is something about transferring knowledge that I find amazing.
How you can learn from someone else's experiences and apply them to your life.
How it saves you time and struggles
And gives you guidance on unknown territories.
Since I can remember, I always saw my teachers as my heroes.
Especially the ones who were not only teachers but also mentors.
The ones that really wanted to make a positive impact on your life
And I always tried to resemble that.
When I started engineering school, I taught mathematics to teenagers in secondary school.
When I started civil engineering school, I became the uni's official tutor for topography.
So becoming a DJing instructor was only a matter of time.
Last year I started a new project.
The hardest thing I've ever done
I started an online DJ academy in Spanish.
It was a challenge
I worked since 5AM
I worked 7 days per week.
I learn about videography, websites, business, sales and marketing.
Learning how to speak to a camera was the hardest of all.
No, wait, the hardest was to ignore the ever-present little voice telling you, " Who the f**k is going to listen to you?"
"You are a f**king impostor."
But I learned to shut it off and did it anyways.
The academy has been running since September last year, with dozens of students and more than 3 thousand people subscribed to my email list.
Listening to all the testimonials about the course
And reading their replies on how the things I tell them in my emails are impacting them in their dreams of becoming a DJ
Have been one of the most humbling experiences I've been through
I started by wanting a business for my own
But now I feel a sense of purpose I never felt before
Motivating me to achieve things I never saw myself capable of
To do them not only for me but for all these people.
To pass the lessons though
And show them what is possible when you go after your dreams.
Thanks to those students who trusted in me at the beginning
To my family and friends who believe in me
And to my love for keeping my sanity in check

Hoy quiero compartir un gran LOGRO con ustedes
Siempre me ha apasionado la educación.
Hay algo en la transferencia de conocimientos que me parece increíble.
Cómo puedes aprender de las experiencias de otra persona y aplicarlas a tu vida.
Cómo te ahorra tiempo y luchas.
Y te orienta en territorios desconocidos.
Desde que tengo uso de razón, siempre he visto a mis profesores como mis héroes.
Especialmente los que no sólo eran profesores, sino también mentores.
Los que realmente querían tener un impacto positivo en tu vida.
Y siempre intenté parecerme a ellos.
Cuando empecé la carrera de ingeniería, enseñaba matemáticas a adolescentes de secundaria.
Cuando empecé ingeniería civil, me convertí en el tutor oficial de topografía de la universidad.
Así que convertirme en instructor de DJ era sólo cuestión de tiempo.
El año pasado empecé un nuevo proyecto.
Lo más difícil que he hecho en mi vida
Empecé una academia de DJ online en español.
Fue todo un reto
Trabajé desde las 5AM
Trabajé 7 días a la semana.
Aprendí sobre videografía, sitios web, negocios, ventas y marketing.
Aprender a hablar a una cámara fue lo más difícil de todo.
No, espera, lo más difícil fue ignorar la siempre presente vocecita que te decía: "¿Quién c**o te va a escuchar?".
"Eres un p**o impostor".
Pero aprendí a apagarla y lo hice de todos modos.
La academia lleva funcionando desde septiembre del año pasado, con docenas de alumnos y más de 3 mil personas suscritas a mi lista de correo electrónico.
Escuchando todos los testimonios sobre el curso
Y leer sus respuestas sobre cómo las cosas que les digo en mis correos electrónicos les están afectando positivamente en sus sueños de convertirse en DJ
Ha sido una de las experiencias más humildes por las que he pasado
Empecé queriendo tener mi propio negocio
Pero ahora siento un sentido de propósito que nunca sentí antes
Motivándome para lograr cosas de las que nunca me vi capaz
Para hacerlas no sólo por mí, sino por toda esta gente
Para transmitirles las lecciones
Y mostrarles lo que es posible cuando persigues tus sueños.
Gracias a los alumnos que confiaron en mí al principio
A mi familia y amigos que creen en mí
Y a mi amor por mantener mi cordura bajo control.
