JAKOB

Having spent most of his years in the UK, it's safe to say that Jakob has been heavily influenced by having Europe on his doorstep and is now making his mark on the Australian scene. He brings Sutra to the table and wins a residency at WeLove. He supports the likes of Oliver Huntemann, Carl Craig, Heidi, Doorly, Patrick Toping, Green Velvet and many more in electronic music today.

His passion for electronic music developed in the South West of England where he currently plays in Australia at parties such as Dayslikethis, Spaceibizaaus, SomethingElse, Blue:print, Welove, Cause and Zoo Project.

Jakobs' unique sound is a vibrant and eclectic mix of tech house, minimal and dark deep techno. It is this combination that brings together all the key ingredients for a banging night on the dance floor.

Here’s our cruiser for this Saturday’s With Respect. Sydney harbour techno boat party.

Theres not much better way to enjoy the last of summer than with a techno party boat cruise in Australia’s most famous location the Sydney Harbour.
The techno cruiser we’ve selected has two storeys and two dance floors, each with panoramic windows to view the sunset as we say hello to the night in complete style. 
Anybody lucky enough to be onboard will be able to take advantage of two levels of fully stocked bars of delicious beverages and cocktails, breath taking views, and a night of debaucherous good times. With bathrooms on each floor, two levels of high quality underground music and everything else taken care of.. your biggest question is which floor to be on and which DJ to see?! 
Weathers predicted to be perfect, bars, bathrooms and beats on each floor, let’s go!

Michael Scheppert

Originating from Germany and Co creator of with respect. boat party, Michael is an experienced producer, dj and event organiser of many years!

Becoming a resident DJ at the age of 18 in one of the oldest and most famous techno clubs in Germany, Douala (1984).
Michael holds a reputation for top quality parties and festivals in Germany and has been a regular at some of the best clubs in the country. Playing alongside greats such as Dominik Eulberg, Pleasurkraft, dubspeeka, Format B. Oliver Schories, Stereo express and Boris Brechja to name a few.

Michael Scheppert produces downtempo and techno and collaborates with Julian D as POTT. Performing at festivals, including Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Pitch, Mushroom Valley and Falls Festival, and has been a regular at club nights in Melbourne, Byron Bay and Brisbane.

This will no doubt be a stand out performance with high quality sound.

Martin Bale

Byron local and head honcho at Apoteka - Byron Bay, Martin has a passionate love for the underground sounds ranging from deep grooving house to big room and progressive techno.
Featuring at festivals such as Pitch Arts and Music festival, Splendour in the Grass Tipi Forest, Mushroom Valley, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Falls Festival and more. Martin has run underground events for coming on 10 years in the Byron Bay area.

Bringing the day into the night on the top floor of the boat party, we are sure to hear a heap of high quality grooves from Martin.
