We celebrate and pray for God's blessing for David and Renee as they begin their married lives together. I had the joy of designing the wedding florals for our son and daughter-in-law.

A heartfelt thank you to KK, Katrina, Sarah and daughters and my mum. You were a blessing when you joined in the early morning collection of orders, hours of preparations and fun of designing.

Thanks to family for their help in making sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Paul arrived home in time to collect the van and transport arrangements 🥱 AJ shared her photography skills, Jerry his organisational experience and Jamie for being in the right place at the right time 🥰🥰🥰

Some of us have taken extra care to show love and appreciation to our partners this weekend. My patient, thoughtful husband took me to the flower markets and let me browse to my heart's content. He received a generous supply of food for his BBQ and enjoyed a delicious meal and games.

This morning in church, we were reminded of God's care for us through Romans 12. Our God renews our minds and transforms our thoughts. We are thankful for the discernment, freedom and mental health that following Christ brings us.

I've gone to the market's today and it was great to see the growers so busy selling their beautiful flowers for Valentine's Day.

As we enter a new year, I've seen posts from those who have had a challenging 2025. Some are carrying the weight of loss, disappointment and exhaustion.

Psalm 34:18 reminds us of that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

God does not stand far away from our pain. He draws near and quietly, lovingly, faithfully guides us through these times.
If your heart is struggling as this new year begins, remember to lean on Him.

May 2026 be a year of healing, hope and peace. You are very welcome to message me with a prayer request. It would be a privilege to pray for you.

I've heard of birds making use of fresh Christmas wreaths and this year we had visitors too! Blue Banded Bees have made themselves at home in the Christmas Bush flowers at the base of our wreath. They seem quite content and undisturbed by our comings and goings 🐝🐝🐝

I always appreciate being sent photos of where floral arrangements displayed by their recipients. Thanks to Paul for sending through this photo of their Christmas wreath. He organised this to surprise his wife. They also received a matching table arrangement.

It’s the season for Christmas wreaths and table arrangements, so my home is full of the scents of pine and spruce.

It was a joy to spend time with my local garden club, sharing the beauty of creating a fresh Christmas wreath and teaching them how to create their own. I was reminded that this season gives us pause to make time for peace and reflection as long-time friends enjoyed this celebration.

These classic Christmas designs create softness and elegance. They combine scented pine, spruce, Christmas Bush, kangaroo paw, gum nuts and eucalyptus. The finishing touch was a luxurious red velvet ribbon.

My mother also enjoyed creating her own table arrangement with pine, holly, gumnuts and hypericum.

These deep crimson peonies caught my attention during this week’s market trip. I had to bring them home and design this luxurious garden-style bouquet to feature them. They are surrounded with golden roses and softened by flowing eucalyptus foliage. Traditional Australian Christmas Bush and gumnuts add texture and depth, creating a sense of abundance with textures. Every element has been carefully chosen to create warmth, elegance, and timeless beauty.

We don’t have to have it all figured out. God does and He provides unexpected blessings along the way. As we trust Him and surrender our plans, He will guide us every step of the way with care.
