This wasn’t quite the next design I thought I’d be sharing… or the next post I thought I’d be making. 🧡
Sadly, my beautiful Grandma (Oma) passed away recently. 🪽💐
Life has been a little unexpected and I’ve been very quiet on here while I’ve taken some time for myself and my family.
I had the honour of creating the flowers for Oma’s coffin. It was my first coffin spray, but one of the most special arrangements I’ve ever had the privilege of creating🥹
I made it in Oma’s apartment, using the colours she had chosen. The colours of the Dutch flag with her favourite colour orange, and of course some tulips 🇳🇱🧡🌷
Being able to create something so personal for her, surrounded by her things and in the place she called home, made it incredibly meaningful.
So this is my little way of stepping back in. 🧡
It feels a little strange coming back with something so personal, but I'm glad this is where I'm starting and so grateful I got to gift her this beautiful arrangement 🥹
I'm ready to start slowly getting back to creating, and I'm looking forward to sharing what comes next ✨
