On 13 September, I’ll be walking in Sydney to raise vital funds for Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation—and I would love you to join me or support my walk.
Kim Milker and Michae Brosowski, founder, have devoted much of the past 10 years to fighting human trafficking in Vietnam. Both have shared powerful stories on the Story Room Global stage, helping us understand the devastating effect trafficking has on children and families.
Some children- including 12 year old girls are trafficked into forced marriages. Others are imprisoned in scam compounds and forced to deceive people online, including Australians like you and me.
Two years ago, Kim swam the English Channel and raised more than $120,000 for Blue Dragon. That extraordinary achievement reflects the commitment of everyone involved in this organisation: they work tirelessly because they care deeply and want to end the human suffering caused by trafficking.
My registration may say I’m walking two kilometres—but I’m aiming for 10 kilometres, alongside many others taking part on the day!

The Ageing Fearlessly theme, presented by Story Room Global at Bucketty's Brewing Co. was a night to remember. 150 people experienced a night of true stories, stories that inspire, educate and connect us as humans. In a world filled with uncertaintly at the moment stories build hope, they they help us build resilience and feel as if we belong.

Last night, 150 people joined us at Bucketty's Brewing Co. Co. Co. for an unforgettable night of storytelling.
I’m so proud of our six storytellers who shared their hearts and inspired us all through the theme of Ageing Fearlessly
A huge thank you to our incredible team of volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the evening run so smoothly. You were amazing.
And thank you to everyone who came along. Your energy, support and enthusiasm made it a very special night.
The support for the Story Room Global monthly event is wonderful and shows how much people love a good story. We are now in our 7th year. 💛
