We’re proud to have hosted yet another conference and exhibition here at our venue showcasing how seamlessly our spaces transform to deliver a complete event experience.

It was a privilege to host the Event Organisers Summit at SMC last week.

We were thrilled to welcome event professionals from across the industry to the Sydney Masonic Centre for a full day of insights, networking, and meaningful connections.

With less than 100 attendees, the summit had a boutique feel but delivered big on value.

From one-on-one meetings with curated suppliers to inspiring keynote sessions and expert briefings, it was a dynamic day designed to spark ideas and drive innovation in the events space.

We’re thrilled to finally share that our venue, SMC, has been chosen as the main filming location for the brand‑new two-part TV event Australia’s Most Identical, set to premiere tonight - Tuesday, June 24 and Wednesday, June 25 at 7:30 PM on Channel 9.

Hosted by beloved TV presenter Scott Cam (yes, that Scott Cam from The Block) and former Olympic athlete Dr Jana Pittman, the series features 100 sets of identical twins undergoing fun, fascinating scientific and creative challenges.

We’re honoured that SMC provided the spaces for this one‑of‑a‑kind social experiment.

We were delighted to host the NHAA Naturopathic Symposium 2025 at SMC back in May.

Our culinary team curated a bespoke catering menu tailored to suit the group’s requirements — ensuring dietary needs were not only met, but perfected. From fresh, wholesome ingredients to nourishing dietary options, every dish was thoughtfully crafted to align with the event’s values.

Following the announcement that Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) has gone into administration, we at SMC are deeply saddened to see such a respected industry body come to an end.

MEA has played a vital role in shaping and supporting the events industry, and we’ve been proud to work closely with them over the years. Our former General Manager even served on its board and SMC was also its venue partner, reinforcing our commitment to the industry and its professional development.
