Trying not to speak too much on the L-word situation but my emotions are fluctuating like crazy. I feel frustrated. I feel challenged. I feel joyous (WFH sure has its perks). I feel stagnant. I feel resourceful. I feel privileged. I feel robbed. And that is all fine.

What is it that you feel? I give you permission to feel whatever it is that is coming up for you. If it helps, pop it down in writing. Release it. Or lean into it. Do whatever it is that you need to do. I am here, loving you. πŸ’ž

BEHIND THE FACE & NAME // Hi friends ✨ A lot of you have been following me for about a year now. You probably saw me switch from β€˜julzypetals’ to β€˜bigluvclub’. The reason behind this is because over time, and with all your encouraging support, I think my love for doing this has finally outgrown my fear. It gives me so much joy to be making something that brightens people’s homes and to be writing out the beautiful words that celebrate people’s milestones or offer comfort in difficult times. I get excited knowing I get to say hi to you guys in person because I’m a bit shy/awkward but you are all just so wonderful. Perhaps this means the most to me because in the last 5 years of my life, I’ve never really felt β€˜purpose’. I’ve never had that competitive drive that keeps you up all night because you want to be better, whether it be in work or academics or a craft. And I thought I was lacking compared to everyone else. I realise now that my purpose has been and always will be to spread love. To be a kind and warm person in all my endeavours. It’s through words and flowers that I can help people express the love that they hold so dearly inside them. I realised that the harder I work at this, the more people I can spread love to in this lifetime. And that is all I really need. To paraphrase my favourite book β€” β€œSometimes I feel lost but it is love that brings me home.” πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—
