This week we head down to McDonald Reserve to catch up with an absolute legend of the South Barwon Swans and the Geelong Football League.

A local product who earned an opportunity with the Brisbane Bears as a 17-year-old, before returning home and making a massive impact on the GFL.

With 200+ games, five premierships, a Leading Goalkicker award, a Best & Fairest and now serving as club President, his football journey is one packed with success, plenty of stories and a whole lot of passion for the game.

It’s a great story from a true local football legend — and one you won’t want to miss!

This week’s guest is a true country football product — a Wimmera Mallee local whose journey took him from the humble grounds of country footy to the biggest stage in the game.

From starring in the SANFL, to building an AFL career with Geelong and Port Adelaide, Shayne Breuer created memories that will live forever — including one famous goal etched into football folklore.

After returning home, Shayne continued to give back, coaching the Horsham Saints to a premiership and helping inspire the next generation of players.
