A throwback to the wedding that will live in my heart forever. Every ceremony is special, but some of them stick with you for reasons both beautiful and devastating. The people that choose love even when they know it will end in loss. When 'til death do us part' is not some far off ideal but a reality that lingers like a guest you had kinda hoped would just stay home. But honestly, to know that and to still choose to slow dance with those demons. To step forward into whatever pocket of bliss you are offered.
Isn't that everything? Isn't that the whole point of this life? To be able to say 'we may not have gotten nearly enough time together, but my god, what we had was magical'.

Y'all I am genuinely so bad at social media. I lack consistency in posting and yes, perhaps I should be more worried about that from a marketing perspective but also, look at this joy! There is so much life to be lived I can never bring myself to be mad for getting distracted by the living of it β˜€οΈπŸ’ƒ

And besides, wouldn't you rather a celebrant who is out there soaking up so much love and bliss and genuine connection that your wedding ceremony is rich with that same energy? πŸ’β€β™€οΈ

I got into this because I love love and the poetry of falling head first into it every day. Of celebrating the romance of it, and finding that in everything. In friendships and in sunshine and belly laughs and thunderstorms and even the quiet moments that over get overlooked. I love writing that into ceremonies and capturing the heart of a relationship through the daily and intentional living of it. πŸ’•

So here's a cute shot of my absurdly joy-filled face to remind you that I'm still here and still always available for a chat! (And to get my grid in some semblance of order before I head into a whirlwind week of weddings I'll surely want to document!) πŸ“Έ

Reflecting on what a beautiful year of love & luscious weddings 2025 was, as I get stuck into writing ceremonies for 2026. How lucky this life is that I get to witness & weave stories about so many magical couples πŸ’•

My favourite vibe (in both life and weddings) is one of the most joyous calm. The balance in which you are heart bursting wide open with enthusiasm, but sitting in this little contented pocket of peaceful bliss. A moment of exhale amidst the excitement. A safe harbour to sit and watch the magic whirling around you.

This feeling is what I try my best to create. This photo is one such moment I felt that succeed. πŸ’•πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ˜Œ

Lily and Kunwoo write each other Sunday Letters. Every week. It is their favourite tradition. Slow and sleepy-eyed mornings sipping coffee and swooning over the fact that even after all these years, they have yet to run out of ways to say 'I love you'. How they are still abuzz with the desire to get those ways down in print. I can only imagine the boxes and boxes of letters they must have. Their home spilling over with all of these tangible reminders of how much they let their love take up space. How much they speak it into existence again and again and again.

A Sunday wedding meant their vows were suddenly the most pivotal Sunday letter they had written yet. But, staying true to tradition, they left the matter of who went first up to chance. Absolutely loved this playful little moment (and learning how much more complex scissors-paper-rock is in South Korea!) βœ‚οΈπŸ“„πŸͺ¨πŸ’•πŸ’«

Wanna get married without the madness of planning a whole wedding? A cheeky elopement or 'legals only' wedding is a great way to get hitched without having to handle all the logistics of a big event! Just the official bits, you, me and two witnesses (bring your two closest mates or be real adventurous and we can ask a couple passers-by!).

The equivalent of going down to the registry office to sign some papers, but this way you get to do it somewhere beautiful, like this stunning hidden gem - the gorgeous sunken Roman-styled Reservoir Gardens in Paddington, where I got to marry the beautiful Lily and Kunwoo.

DM me if this sounds like the no-stress wedding you're after πŸ’•

Honestly I have to pinch myself about 10 times a minute that this is what I get to do for a living. Meeting beautiful couples and getting to watch them gush about each other and then rewrite that adoration into a perfect little poetic love story to share with the world? I cannot imagine telling young Rach (who loved love and dreamed of nothing more magical than being a writer) that we could make a living out of this, she would squeal with joy just as much as I do nearly every bloody wedding I do πŸ’•πŸ’«πŸ₯°

Y'all, I've been useless at social media again. I keep getting so swept up in crafting these blissful love stories and how magical and intimate those moments are, that I forget the whole content bit that is what allows more beautiful souls to find me. Luckily, my stunning couples are pretty great at spreading the word and sharing the love enough to keep it all going, but just to remind the algorithm that I'm still here, I'm still available and I still absolutely froth a good love celebration - here's some more spectacular snaps and sappy feedback πŸ’•βœ¨
