For the third year running, Forum Group has proudly partnered with South African Tourism to deliver the unforgettable Mega Lekker Escape in South Africa!

This year, we brought together 110 travel agents from Australia and New Zealand, alongside 120 South African Operators, at the iconic Sun City Resort for three jam-packed days of connection, collaboration and celebration. From impactful meetings and inspiring presentations to a luxury rail experience and high-energy trivia (and yes.. a dance floor moment or two), the Mega Lekker Escape truly captured the true spirit of South Africa with vibrant local music, live drumming, incredible cuisine and an atmosphere that was pure joy from start to finish.
Another powerful example of how events can spark real business outcomes while creating unforgettable shared experiences.

With the exciting news that Harry Potter is being developed into a television series, we couldn’t help but reminisce about the magical Harry Potter themed event Forum Group created back in 2019.

Guests stepped into a stunning recreation of the Great Hall at Hogwarts, complete with over 1,000 floating candles and four long house tables. Throughout the night, guests were delighted by appearances from familiar characters including Hagrid, Professor McGonagall, the Fat lady (in her portrait, of course) and the crowd favourite - Hedwig the owl! Even Moaning Myrtle made a surprise appearance in the ladies’ bathroom!
