Currently completing my OPD for the year via Australian Celebrations Training Australian Celebrations Training and I am reflecting back on the year and the ceremonies I have done. I love them all, and this year was extra special with being able to be a bridesmaid and celebrant for one of my oldest friends, doing the ceremony for my step brother and his wife, however this one will always hold a special place for me. This was my first same s*x wedding, and I was so proud to be in this special moment for Rory and Dan. Rory is a childhood friend and I was truly honoured to be a part of this amazing day. Bec + Chris 18.05.19 Bec has been one of my very best friends for life, in fact my mum was a bridesmaid for Bec’s mum. This wedding was so special (as they all are) to me, as I not only had the honour of being celebrant, but also getting to stand up there as a bridesmaid for one of my best friends as she said ‘I Do’ to the love of her life. Leanne + John 15/05/19. Leanne and John surprised their kids yesterday with a short, intimate ceremony in Mooloolaba. They didn’t want a big fuss and just wanted their kids and their witnesses as guests. I was so pleased to be a part of their day and was so happy to deliver the ceremony they wanted- short and sweet!
